Pablo Varela de Cores has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Pablo is currently the Head of Legal and Head of Structuring at Marco, a position they have held from October 2021. From December 2014 to October 2018, Pablo worked at Posadas, Posadas & Vecino as an Abogado and as an Asistente Legal. Pablo also had an internship at Berkshire Hathaway Energy from January 2017 to June 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Asistente Legal at Posadas & Vecino Consultores Internacionales from October 2012 to March 2014 and as a Pasante Legal at Jiménez de Aréchaga, Viana & Brause from May 2011 to December 2011.

Pablo Varela de Cores obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with a focus on Commercial Law from the University of Westminster in 2009. Pablo then pursued further education and completed their Doctor degree in Abogacia from Universidad de Montevideo between 2009 and 2014. Later, in 2016, they attended Georgetown University Law Center to earn a Master of Laws (LLM) specializing in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law. In 2018, they also acquired a certificate in the International Custom Programme - Certificate from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), emphasizing Strategic Business in a Global Economy.
