Daniel T. Hickey

Daniel T. Hickey has extensive experience in research and education, currently serving as a Technical Research Assistant at MaREI since May 2021, focusing on bioenergy and biofuels, including biomass gasification and innovative digestion applications. Previous roles include Support Advisor at Shopify, English Teacher at Arista Eikaiwa, Laboratory Technician at the University of Limerick, Laboratory Assistant at Seagreen Bio Limited, and Biomass Analyst at Celignis Limited, where responsibility included characterizing biomass samples for research projects. Daniel T. Hickey holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Analytical Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Biochemistry from the University of Limerick.
