Alexandra Flores

Alexandra F. has recently taken on the role of Humanities Teacher at Maret School, beginning in June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Core Leader at American University from August 2022 to May 2023, and a Resident Advisor for the ACLU in July 2022. Alexandra worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Critical Race, Gender, & Culture Studies at American University from January 2021 to May 2022, and completed internships in the U.S. House of Representatives and with Majority Whip James Clyburn. Alexandra's campaign experience includes roles such as Campaign and Communications Intern at EDGE Communications LLC and Field Director for Luisa Santos' campaign for the Miami-Dade County School Board. Additionally, Alexandra held leadership positions within the American University College Democrats. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government from American University, complemented by a minor in Latinx Studies.
