Debbie started with MWE in 1978 while attending Hofstra University and has been here ever since. In addition to her client responsibilities, she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, advising the firm on current developments, implementing new firm practices and procedures, and acting as the liaison with the IT department regarding tax processing software and electronic filing. She was actively involved in the firm’s transition to a "paperless" environment. She is also a member of the firm's Best Practices Committee.
Debbie services a diverse client base in various industries including, Real Estate, Manufacturing and High Net Worth Individuals.
In addition to receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from Hofstra, Debbie also has a Master’s in Taxation from CW Post and was awarded her CPA in 1982. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and on the Board of Directors for both the Inwood Country Club and her Condo Association.
