Elina Anckar

Elina Anckar is the current Chief Financial Officer at Marimekko. Prior to their current position, Anckar served as a Member of the Board, Vice Chairman at Kalevala Koru Oy from September 2014 to September 2019. From January 2014 to December 2015, they were a Member of the Board at Finnish Design Shop. From February 2013 to December 2015, Anckar was Director of Finance and Human Resources at A-lehdet Oy. From February 2012 to February 2013, they were VP, Head of Business Control, Business Unit Finland, Broadband Services at Telia Company. Anckar served as CFO at Sodexo from November 2007 to January 2012. Elina was Country Controller at H&M Hennes & Mauritz from December 2002 to November 2007. Prior to that, they were Controller , FSP Project Manager at Nokia from January 1999 to December 2002.

Elina Anckar has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku. Elina has also studied International Marketing at Uppsala University and Corporate Finance, EU Studies at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Elina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Statistics from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku.

They are on a team with Morten Israelsen - Chief Sales Officer , Tina Broman - Chief Supply Chain Officer, and Kari Härkönen - Chief Digital Officer. Elina Anckar reports to Tiina Alahuhta-Kasko, President & CEO.
