Michael Ervin

Principal Solutions Architect at Marin Software

Michael Ervin has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being as a Principal Solutions Architect at Marin Software since 2012. Prior to this, they worked at Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP), where they held various positions including Innovation + Digital Strategy and Solutions Architect. In these roles, they were involved in reinventing BRP's business model, designing sales programs, implementing new technologies, and overseeing the revamp of an extranet. Michael also served on the board of the Marine Association for Technology Exchange Standards. Before joining BRP, Michael worked as a Project Manager and Project Lead at Outboard Marine Corporation, where they led the development of an extranet project and the corporate intranet. Michael also evaluated and integrated new products for customer contact management and multimedia processing. Additionally, they had a brief role as Applications Developer at Academic Technology Development/DePaul University. Prior to their work at BRP and Outboard Marine Corporation, Michael built a consulting practice as the President and Lead Developer of Verition, Inc, where they focused on technology solutions and consulting for business optimization and entrepreneurship.

Michael Ervin has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from DePaul University, which they obtained from 1997 to 1999. Michael pursued further studies in Graduate Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. In 2007, Michael pursued an MBA in International Business from Marquette University, which they completed in 2008. Additionally, in 1995 and 1996, they attended the University of Chicago, although the field of study and degree obtained during this time period are unknown.
