Ricardo Araneda is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in neurobiology and physiology. Currently serving as Co-Director and Faculty for the Neurobiology Course at the Marine Biological Laboratory since June 2009, Ricardo also holds the position of Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park, where teaching responsibilities include courses in Mammalian Physiology and Neurosciences. Additionally, Ricardo is affiliated with multiple graduate programs, including Neuroscience & Cognitive Science and Physiological Systems. Previously, Ricardo was an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University from 2000 to 2006 and completed a PhD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine followed by postdoctoral studies at Columbia University.
