Hamutal Ben Bassat has over 17 years of experience in business development and growth. In 2004, they began their career as an Associate at Efrati, Galili, Lahat & Co. (formerly in Cohen, Lahat & Co.). Hamutal then moved to TAHAL Group in 2007, where they served as Business Development Director, assessing water infrastructure investment opportunities and negotiating with concession holders, target companies and financial institutions. In 2010, they became Business Development Manager at Shamir Optical Industry. In 2012, they joined IDE Technologies as Business Development Manager, setting up the M&A practice. In 2015, they were appointed Global Business Development Director at Essilor, where they were responsible for developing new business platforms and leading global M&A strategy in the online/e-commerce sector. In 2017, they became VP Business Development, Consultant at xtract.ai, leading their go-to-market strategy development. In 2018, they joined Nano One Materials Corp. as VP Business Development, curating and nourishing a rapidly growing list of business opportunities with lithium ion battery stakeholders and leading the commercialization effort to transform prospects into licensing and collaborative partnerships. Hamutal also served as Executive In Residence at Foresight and Mentor at entrepreneurship@UBC Management Inc. in 2018. Currently, they are Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at MarineLabs CoastAware\u2122, where they focus on generating revenues and growing the company.

Hamutal Ben Bassat's education history includes a B.A in Law from Bar-Ilan University from 1996 to 2001, an M.A in Philosophy from Bar-Ilan University from 1999 to 2005, and courses in Chinese language from Tel Aviv University from 1997 to 1999 and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1999 to 2000. Hamutal also took a course in Chinese Economy and Law at Fudan University from 2000 to 2001.
