Shannon King

Shannon King possesses a diverse background in childcare, education, and various industry roles. Currently serving as a childcare provider at Mariners Church since October 2019, Shannon is also a dedicated volunteer and self-employed mom since August 2002. Experience includes staff supervision in TK and kindergarten classrooms at Irvine Unified School District since October 2014 and supporting reading and writing for elementary students in a smaller group setting at Santiago Hills Elementary School since March 2014. Prior positions span quality assurance at Fancy Publishing, programming direction at Irvine Chamber of Commerce, health promotion at The Cooper Institute, and sales assistance at KDFW-CBS Affiliate. Shannon holds a B.A. in Communications from Stephens College, obtained in 1988.
