Mia MacPhail

Mia MacPhail has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mia'smost recent position was at MarinHealth as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Care department, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Travel Registered Nurse at Focus Staff from April 2022 onwards. From January 2021 to April 2022, Mia MacPhail served as the Director of Wellness at Sequoia Living. Before that, they held the position of RN-Medical Telemetry at Tenet Healthcare from July 2016 to January 2021.

Prior to their career in healthcare, Mia MacPhail pursued a diploma in Nursing and worked as a Nursing Student at MJC from August 2014 to April 2016. Additionally, they gained experience in research and scientific roles at Aragen Biosciences as a Sr. Research Associate for two months in 2014, and at MedImmune Vaccines and AstraZeneca as an Associate Scientist from October 1997 to September 2012.

Before entering the healthcare industry, Mia MacPhail worked as a Sr. Chemist/Supervisor at Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc from June 1994 to October 1997. Mia started their career as a Research Assistant at Canji Inc from February 1993 to June 1994.

Mia MacPhail obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cell Biology and Anatomy from San Diego State University between 1987 and 1991. Mia then pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Modesto Junior College from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Mia has also studied Biology/Biological Sciences, General at San Diego State University, but the duration of this education is unknown.
