Matthew Pennachio

Matthew Pennachio is a Professor of Chemistry at Marist College, beginning in July 2024, and previously served as a School Teacher at WSWHE BOCES from March to August 2024, where a positive and inclusive learning environment was fostered. Matthew was a PhD Candidate and researcher at the University at Albany, SUNY, specializing in materials, coordination, and organometallic chemistry from September 2017 to December 2023 under Dr. Marina Petrukhina. Earlier experience includes working as a Quality Control Chemist at Ames Goldsmith Corporation from January 2014 to September 2017, where comprehensive quality control analysis was conducted on silver powders. Matthew holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University at Albany, an Associate of Science in Chemistry from SUNY Adirondack, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from SUNY Geneseo.
