Mark D.

Mark D. has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and insurance. Mark is currently serving as the Head of Group Engineering at Markerstudy Insurance since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant, providing consulting services and supporting startup initiatives from March 2021 onwards. Mark also served as the Interim Chief Technology Officer at AEGIS London from May 2021 to October 2021.

Before their independent consulting role, Mark held the position of Senior Vice President of Architecture at Insurance Business Applications from September 2019 to March 2021. Mark also worked as the Chief Architect at Direct Line Group from September 2016 to September 2019.

Mark has extensive experience in the field of architecture, having served as the Head of Architecture at RDT Limited from July 2015 to July 2016 and as the Chief Architect at AXA PPP healthcare from January 2010 to July 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Consulting - Enterprise Business Service Architect at SITA from March 2008 to January 2010.

Mark's early career includes roles as a Senior Managing Consultant at Glue Reply Ltd from February 2004 to January 2010 and as a Consulting - Enterprise Architect at Argos from April 2004 to December 2004.

Mark D. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Northumbria University, which was completed in 1996. In 1992 to 1995, they attended Newcastle College for HCIM studies, and from 1987 to 1991, they studied at Durham School. Additionally, Mark D. underwent various technical, methodological, and managerial training courses in IT, Business Management, and Enterprise Architecture. In 2021, they also pursued a Guitar Luthier and Guitar Build Course at James Collins Professional Guitar Studio for personal development and enjoyment. Mark D. further obtained MCA & RYA Ocean Master certification from UKSA - University Associated Professional Yachtsman Sea School in 2003, specializing in Sailing, Yachting, Yacht Maintenance, Management, and Design.
