Dr. Sharon Stager

Dr. Sharon Stager has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and education fields. Dr. Sharon started their career as a Nurse Practitioner at Rhode Island Hospital in 1998 and later worked at MinuteClinic as a Nurse Practitioner from 2007 to 2012. In 2004, they joined Salve Regina University where they held various roles including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Director of BSN to DNP Program. Currently, they are an Associate Professor at Salve Regina University. In 2006, Dr. Stager also worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Wellcare, Inc. Additionally, they have experience as a Health Coach at In Search for Health starting in 2011. Dr. Sharon also worked for Market America, Inc. in the same capacity.

Dr. Sharon Stager has an extensive education history in the field of nursing. Dr. Sharon obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Fitchburg State University between 1988 and 1992. Dr. Sharon then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree at Duke University from 1993 to 1996. Dr. Stager furthered their education by earning a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 2010 to 2013. These educational achievements signify their dedication to advancing their knowledge and skills in the field of nursing. Additionally, Dr. Stager is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
