Walter Carlo has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Walter started their career at UnitedHealthcare in 1994, where they worked as a Consultant/Programmer until 1998. Walter then joined Recoton Corporation in 1997 as a UniVerse Developer, staying with the company until 2001. In 2005, they moved to Market America, Inc. and held multiple roles over the years, including UniVerse Developer, Emergency Operational Task Project Manager, and Logistics Application Architect and Manager. Their tenure at Market America lasted until at least 2014.

Walter Carlo attended the Inter American University of Puerto Rico from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and an Associate's degree in Accounting.
