Taha Celik

Taha Celik has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Taha started their career as an Operation Control Officer at Havas Ground Handling Co. in 2014. Taha then worked as an Air Transport Specialist at Gözen Holding A.S. in 2016.

In 2017, Taha joined FTD Companies as a Senior Customer Care Specialist. Taha trained and led a team of Client Service representatives, handled customer concerns, negotiated product costs with vendors, and reported emerging trends to executive management.

From 2018 to 2021, Taha worked at Smashtech as a Supply Chain Specialist. Taha directed planning, forecasting, and data analysis for optimal inventory levels, negotiated with vendors, and improved inventory accuracy.

In 2021, Taha joined Lume Cube as a Demand Planner. Taha planned and managed inventory levels in multiple warehouses, worked with global suppliers to reduce lead times, and led global expansion initiatives for the Lume Cube brand.

Currently, Taha serves as the Vice President of Supply Chain at Market Defense, starting in 2023. In this role, they lead the operations team that services over 60 clients from multiple industries, directs overall purchasing and inventory tracking, and collaborates with brands to improve their Amazon business.

Taha Celik's education history includes a Professional Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School, which was obtained in 2021. Prior to that, they completed Executive Education in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Columbia Business School from 2018 to 2019. Taha'sundergraduate education was at Kocaeli University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from 2012 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Taha Celik has obtained several certifications. These include Lean Inventory Management from NASBA and The Key to Good Communication: Your Audience from LinkedIn, both obtained in December 2020. Taha also holds a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, earned in December 2019. Other certifications include NAFC Nutrition Coach Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in March 2019, Certified Training Professional in Aviation from SOFRECO in February 2017, and upcoming certifications in Amazon Retail for Advertisers and Amazon DSP Campaigns, both scheduled for completion in 2023.
