Tanniru Rao has extensive work experience in market research. In 1976, they founded Market Probe, a global market research firm specializing in stakeholder measurement programs for customers, employees, and brands. Tanniru currently serves as the owner and president/CEO of Market Probe and has a strong expertise in customer, brand, and employee satisfaction. Additionally, Market Probe is recognized as one of the top diversity-owned businesses in the United States and has been ranked among the 50 fastest-growing Asian American businesses. Before starting Market Probe, Rao worked as a professor of marketing at the University of Wisconsin from 1967 to 1995.
Tanniru Rao obtained a PhD in Marketing and Economics from Michigan State University in the years 1964 to 1967. Additionally, they hold a Masters degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute and a BA in Mathematics from Andhra University.
