Colin Murphy

Colin Murphy, MBA, has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Colin currently holds the position of Executive Director at BBVA Securities Inc, starting in July 2022. Prior to this role, Colin worked as a Sr. Client Services Representative at MarketAxess since November 2019. From August 2017 to November 2019, they served as the Head of Operations at LiquidityEdge LLC. Colin also gained valuable experience at Scotiabank, where they held positions as a Senior Manager from January 2016 to July 2017, and as an Assistant Vice President from February 2013 to July 2017. At Barclays Capital, Colin held the role of Executive from October 2004 to January 2013, and previously as a Credit Division Trading Assistant/Settlement Specialist from October 2004 to August 2008. Colin began their career at Instinet Incorporated as a Clearing and Settlement Representative from 2000 to 2004.

Colin Murphy, MBA, pursued their higher education from different institutions, focusing on business administration and communications. From 2013 to 2014, they attended Northeastern University, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) and specialized in Masters of Business Administration. Prior to that, they studied at Marist College from 1995 to 1999, earning their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications. Colin also completed their high school education at Pascack Hills from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the Series 99 certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in December 2017.
