Georgy Golovanov

Georgy Golovanov has a strong background in compliance and regulatory risk. Georgy currently works at MarketAxess as a Compliance Officer, a position they have held since August 2019. Prior to that, they were employed at Deloitte Nederland as a Manager Regulatory Risk from December 2017 to July 2019. Before joining Deloitte, Georgy worked at Paymentwall, Inc. as a Senior Compliance Officer from September 2016 to December 2017. Georgy also has experience at Renaissance Capital as a Senior Compliance Officer from December 2010 to August 2015, and at HSBC Bank RR as a Compliance Officer from May 2008 to December 2010.

Georgy Golovanov began their education in 2000 at the Higher School of Economics, where they earned a Master's degree in Civil and Investment Law in 2005. In 2012 and 2013, they attended the Institute of Philosophy, Theology and History of St. Thomas, studying Theology/Theological Studies. In 2004, they obtained the Certified Compliance Officer (Broker/Dealer/Asset Manager) FSFM's certificates (1.0, 4.0, 5.0) from The Central Bank of the Russian Federation. In 2017, they obtained the NT2-II Diploma (B2 in het Nederlands) from Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (Ministerie van OCW).
