Julien Alexandre

Julien Alexandre has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Julien began their career as the Head of International Sector at Forum Centrale Entreprises 2010 from February 2010 to January 2011. Following that, they worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Amundi from February 2012 to May 2012. Julien then moved to ITG, where they served as an Algo Trading Research Intern in May 2012, and later became an Assistant VP, Quantitative Analyst from January 2013 to August 2015.

After leaving ITG, Julien joined MarketAxess in August 2015 as a Research Analyst and held this position until December 2017. Julien was then promoted to the role of Senior Research Analyst from January 2018 to June 2020. Subsequently, they became the Head of Data Science at MarketAxess from July 2020 to June 2022, and is currently serving as the Global Head of Quant Research from June 2022 onwards.

Julien Alexandre's education history begins with their attendance at Lycée du Parc from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued Prépa MPSI/MP studies. Following this, they enrolled in CentraleSupélec from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering. Julien then pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering from Columbia Engineering, attending from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Julien has also obtained several certifications. In August 2022, they obtained the Series 24 certification from FINRA. In March 2014, they acquired the Series 7 & 63 certifications, also from FINRA. Lastly, in August 2019, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
