Pierce Lord

Pierce Lord, CFA has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Pierce is currently serving as the Global Head of Market Data at MarketAxess since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ICE where they held various roles. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Director of Indices, and from 2019 to 2022, they served as the Director of Analytics. Before joining ICE, Pierce worked at Bloomberg LP, where they held multiple positions including the Global Head of Corporate, Govt and Municipal Valuation (BVAL) from 2017 to 2019. Pierce was also the Head of BVAL's Municipal Valuation and Curves Product from 2013 to 2017, and a member of the BVAL Corporate Bond Valuation team from 2010 to 2013. Prior to their work at Bloomberg LP, Pierce founded Lord Capital Management LLC in 2006 and served as the Founder and Portfolio Manager until 2010. Pierce also worked as a Convertible Bond Trader/Analyst at Drake Management from 2003 to 2005, and as an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS from 2002 to 2003.

Pierce Lord, CFA completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from Colgate University, from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Mercersburg Academy from 1994 to 1998. Pierce holds the Chartered Financial Analyst certification from institution 162977, but the month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
