Sami K. Sørensen

Sami K. Sørensen has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. In 2010, they interned at BNP Paribas CIB in the Equity Derivatives department. The following year, in 2011, they worked as an M&A Analyst at Commerzbank AG. In 2012, they joined Societe Generale as a Global Economic Research Associate for a short period. In 2013, they started working at Goldman Sachs as a Sales Associate in Switzerland and later transitioned to the role of Corporate Credit Trader/Market Maker, primarily focusing on investment-grade corporate bonds and CDS. In 2017, Sami joined Deutsche Bank as a Vice President Credit Trader, primarily trading EUR TMT, Pharma, Chemicals, and corporate hybrids. In 2020, they founded their own company, IoTAL GmbH, where they served as the Founder & CEO. They built a real-time digital twin map on a global scale and developed a grid system layer for immersive mapping applications. Currently, Sami holds the position of Senior Sales Executive at MarketAxess, starting in April 2023.

Sami K. Sørensen has a strong educational background in management and corporate/public management. Sami K. obtained an MSc. degree in Management from HEC Paris from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2012, they pursued an MSc. in Corporate & Public Management from Sciences Po. Additionally, in 2008 and 2009, they were an International Student at Copenhagen Business School, specializing in Finance and Strategy.

In terms of certifications, Sami K. Sørensen obtained the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from CFA UK in April 2014.
