John Restall

John Restall has a diverse work experience in the media and entertainment industry. John currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Media and Entertainment, Custom Research at MarketCast since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Entertainment Marketing Consultant as a self-employed individual starting in August 2018. From April 2015 to August 2018, they served as the Executive Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Research at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Before that, they held various roles at Nielsen NRG, including Senior Vice President of Client Consulting from May 2012 to April 2015 and Vice President of Research and Analysis from June 2010 to May 2012. John started their career at MarketCast in July 2005 as the Director of Research Analysis, where they worked until June 2010.

John Restall has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts. John also holds a Doctor of Law degree from The University of British Columbia.
