John Abbate

John Abbate is the founder of Marketing Alliance, Inc., which specializes in economic development and destination marketing. Before that, they were the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at K&W, Inc., where they managed national sales and focused on brand management. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Creative Director at Lott Walker Advertising, an Art Director at Gordon Marks Advertising, and a Graphic Artist at General Motors.

John Abbate attended Ferris State University from 1981 to 1983, where they earned their Associate's degree in Commercial and Advertising Art. John then went on to attend Kendall College of Art and Design from 1983 to 1985 and earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Advertising and Marketing.
