Jimmy McGinness

As Corporate Controller of MarketWise since 2019, Jimmy McGinness has bolstered the accounting department by converting the company to GAAP accounting, implementing a revenue recognition system, developing process and controls, and hiring and developing a new team. Before joining MarketWise, Jimmy spent more than two years serving as Corporate Controller for GSE Systems Inc. Prior to that, he worked several years in various accounting management roles at Exelon. Jimmy is a CPA and earned his B.S. in accounting from the University at Albany in upstate New York.
