Cary Demello

Cary DeMello is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with extensive experience in technical recruiting and team management. Currently serving as the Manager of Technical Talent Acquisition at Markforged since March 2019, Cary played a pivotal role in taking the company public in July 2021 and built a recruiting team of ten. Responsibilities include executive-level sourcing, capacity planning to scale workforce, and leading the implementation of the Greenhouse ATS. Prior to Markforged, Cary held various recruiting roles at Dell Technologies from 2012 to 2019, including Senior Advisor for Dell Boomi Engineering and Inside Sales, where significant contributions to full-cycle recruiting and strategic initiatives were made. Cary's early career includes internships and co-op positions in human resources at Cummins Inc., Mercury Computer Systems, and EMC. Cary holds an M.B.A. from the University of Utah and a BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
