Julia Kulakova is an experienced fitness instructor and personal trainer with a diverse background in mind-body practices, dance, and rehabilitation. Currently serving as a Qi Gong Tai Chi Instructor at the Jewish Community Center and a Femme Vitale Dance Fitness Workout instructor at 92nd Street Y since 2013, Julia has been influential in promoting wellness through various movement modalities. Julia’s extensive experience includes working with athletes at Advanced Body Sense, specializing in injury rehabilitation and sports performance enhancement. With a longstanding career as a simultaneous Russian-English interpreter and translator, Julia also brings a unique cultural perspective to fitness and wellness. Educational background includes a BS in Psychology and Social Work and a BFA in Acting and Directing, further enriching Julia’s holistic approach to health and fitness.
