Marie Timmermann (She/Her)

Marie is a young Economics Graduate from HEC Lausanne and has already gained several professional experiences in the banking sector that raised her interest.For her Master Thesis, she wrote about the gender gap in financial literacy among high-school students and realized there was a lot of room for potential improvement in closing that gap.At the same time, she was interning in Wealth Management for HNWI at UBS, and while she loved the industry, she realized she wanted to dedicate her time more specifically into helping women achieve a higher level of wealth.After graduating, Marie decided to tutor young girls in maths and economics to help them achieve their goals and become more financially literate.During her studies, Marie had the opportunity to study abroad, in Australia and in Czech Republic, giving her the taste of travel.That is why now, she is currently traveling around Europe, working remotely and combining two of her passions: travel and finance.
