Carla Develder

Carla DeVelder is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel for Product at Marqeta since December 2022. Prior to this role, Carla held positions as Deputy General Counsel and Senior Counsel for Product at Wyre from March 2022 to December 2022, and as Senior Legal Counsel at PayPal from April 2018 to March 2022. Earlier experience includes roles at West Corporation as Director of Regional Privacy and Security, Americas, and Associate Counsel, as well as Senior Claims Counsel at Fidelity National Title Group. Carla also served in academic roles including Associate Dean for Student Services at Creighton University School of Law and Director of Career Services at Notre Dame Law School. Carla began a legal career as Assistant Dean at the University of Nebraska and as Assistant Public Defender at Douglas County Public Defender's Office. Carla earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1996.
