Mark Federle

Associate Dean For Academic Affairs at Marquette University

Mark Federle is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in civil engineering and education. Currently serving as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Marquette University since April 2008, Mark coordinates and supervises academic programs in the College of Engineering. In addition, Mark holds the position of McShane Chair of Construction Engineering, where a construction engineering and management program was initiated. As a faculty advisor for the Engineers without Borders - Marquette University Student Chapter, Mark has significantly contributed to various community development projects in Guatemala. Previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Quest International Users Group and as Chief Information Officer at The Weitz Company, where Mark established an IT department. Mark's academic foundation includes a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
