Syed Waqas

Syed Waqas is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and technology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Engineer for Rove Hotels since September 2016, Syed has successfully managed engineering teams at Rove Expo 2020 and Rove Downtown, overseeing budgeting and operational expenditures while implementing cost and energy-saving strategies. Prior to this, Syed held the position of Team Leader at SCT Global, leading a team of 15 engineers and monitoring their performance. Earlier career experience includes working as an RF Engineer at LCC - A Tech Mahindra Company, focusing on site performance analysis and quality assurance. Syed holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology and a DAE in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Technology.
