Sean Chai

Sean Chai currently serves as a Quant Developer at Marshall Wace since October 2021, focusing on quant trading. Prior experience includes a Technology Graduate Rotational Program as a Software Engineer, covering areas such as KDB, cybersecurity, production engineering, data engineering, and quant engineering, with an additional secondment in Hong Kong. Previous roles include a final year research project at Amazon Web Services, a Motorsport Intern at Formula 1, a Research Analyst at Queen's Tower Capital, and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London. Sean Chai also interned at Goldman Sachs as an IBD Strats Summer Analyst and returned to Formula 1 for a second motorsport internship. Earlier experience includes an engineering internship at RUF Automobile GmbH and serving as Vice President for the Imperial College Investment Society, as well as a Blockchain Research Intern at Helixx Holdings. Sean Chai holds a Master of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London, obtained between 2017 and 2021.
