Gemma Jones has extensive experience in marketing and customer experience roles. Gemma started their career as an Industrial Placement Marketing Consultant at J P Distribution in 1998. Gemma then moved to Morphy Richards, where they worked as an Assistant Product Manager and later as a Product Group Manager. In 2007, they joined Marshalls as a Marketing Manager and progressed to become the Head of Domestic Marketing, overseeing various brands within the group. Gemma held roles such as UK Marketing Director and Trading Director before being appointed as the Group Marketing & CX Director at Marshalls plc in 2023.
Gemma Jones completed their GCSE studies at Ecclesfield School from 1989 to 1994. Gemma then pursued A Levels in Business, English, and Geography at Sheffield College from 1994 to 1996. Gemma went on to obtain a BA(HONS) First in Business Studies from the University of Derby between 1996 and 2000. Later, they continued their education with a focus on Strategic Leadership at Ashridge Business School in 2007-2008 and completed a course in Strategic Marketing at the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2013.
