Joshua de Vries

Joshua de Vries has a diverse work experience, starting as a Front Desk Agent at The Albert at Bay Suite Hotel in 2008. Joshua then worked at Scotiabank as a Customer Service Representative and later as a Customer Support Representative from 2010 to 2014.

In 2014, Joshua joined the Government of Canada as a Software Developer, where they developed back-end and front-end business logic using various technologies. Joshua also implemented Crystal Report system for integration and enhanced website usability with JavaScript and jQuery.

From 2015 to 2016, Joshua worked as a Web Developer at Swaaap.com, where they focused on full-stack web development using ASP. NET, Angular, TypeScript, Less, Entity Framework, and MSSQL.

Joshua then joined the Government of Canada again in 2016 as a Web Specialist, working on full-stack web development for HIFIS 4.0 using C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, WCF services, and .NET MVC 4.

In the same year, they started working as a Teacher at Algonquin College, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with students.

Currently, Joshua is a Software Developer / Scrum Master at Martello Technologies, where they continue to contribute and grow in their role.

From 2012 to 2015, Joshua de Vries attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. During this time, they pursued a degree in Internet Applications and Web Development with a focus on Web/Multimedia Management and Webmaster.
