David Farmer

David Farmer has extensive experience in the transportation industry, starting their career at Knight Transportation in 2000. David held various roles at Knight Transportation, including Division Manager and National Account Manager / Division Manager.

In 2009, David joined Marten Transport as an Operations Manager and steadily progressed through the ranks. David served as Director of Dedicated Operations from 2015 to 2019, Senior Director of Dedicated Operations from 2019 to 2022, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Dedicated Operations.

David's expertise and leadership in the transportation industry have contributed to their successful career in managing dedicated operations.

David Farmer attended the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee from 1995 to 1999. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
