Kier Holmes

Kier Holmes is an accomplished contributing writer and content creator with extensive experience in writing for prominent publications including Gardenista, Sonoma Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens Magazine, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia since 2016. In addition to writing, Kier serves as a speaker and garden educator at Mill Valley Public Library, teaching various science and garden-related programs for both children and adults. Since 2000, Kier has also worked as a landscape designer and consultant in the Bay Area, providing design and maintenance services for select gardens. Previous roles include garden education at Park Elementary School and contributions to Marin Magazine, Edible Marin & Wine Country, and Sunset Magazine. Kier holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated from Marin Academy.
