Michael W. has extensive work experience in the construction materials industry. Michael started their career at Rinker Materials where they held various roles, including Quality Engineer, Asst Quality Control Manager, Production Engineer, and Technical Manager. During their time there, they oversaw quality and compliance in both the Cement and Ready Mix Concrete divisions.

After Rinker Materials, Michael joined Trinity Industries as the Director of Technical Service. Michael was responsible for the technical operations of a 110 plant ready mix operations and 10 aggregate pits in three states. Michael built the program from the ground up and received the NRMCA Excellence in Quality Award.

Following their tenure at Trinity Industries, Michael worked at Roebuck Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant. Michael assisted client companies in finding profitability from all sections of their business and developed training sessions.

Subsequently, Michael joined GCC as the Director of Technical Service. Michael managed the overall technical functions of a ready mix and aggregate company with multiple plants and aggregate pits across 6 states. Michael also oversaw remote laboratories and was involved in software installations.

Prior to their current role, Michael worked at MAW Engineering as a Principal Engineer. Michael assisted client companies in the construction materials and construction field, ensuring desired outcomes and promoting the use of client company products.

Currently, Michael is working at Martin Marietta as the Vice President of Technical Services. Michael manages the design, control, and testing of Ready Mixed Concrete for a large concrete producer. Michael oversees laboratories, the cement technical service function, and leads the new product roll out of Type IL Cement.

Michael W. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology with a focus on Industrial Engineering from the University of Dayton. Michael also earned a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. Michael W. has obtained several certifications as a Professional Engineer from various states including Colorado, Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Arizona, and Georgia.
