Brennan Chester has extensive experience in the field of cyber security. Brennan is currently working as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst at MartinFed since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ASRC Federal as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst from March 2022 to August 2022. Brennan also has experience working as a Cyber Security Analyst ll at Scientific Research Corporation from February 2021 to March 2022, where they collaborated with program managers, software developers, integrators, and network engineers to automate and harden information systems. Additionally, they configured secure Windows and RHEL servers and Cisco switches and routers. Before their career in cyber security, Brennan served as a Team Leader in the 75th Ranger Regiment, U.S. Army from November 2011 to November 2016, where they had responsibilities in leadership, IT support, and intelligence. Brennan also gained experience as a Student/Volunteer at Columbus State University from January 2019 to December 2020.
Brennan Chester has a diverse educational background. Brennan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbus State University, where they studied from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they attended Georgia Military College-Columbus Campus and earned an Associate of Science in General Studies.
In addition to their formal education, Brennan has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they received the CompTIA Network+ ce Certification, followed by the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in 2019. Brennan further enhanced their expertise by acquiring the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification in 2021 and the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification in 2023.
Outside of traditional academic pursuits, Brennan also completed the Army Basic Leader Course in 2014 and the U.S. Army Ranger School in 2013, further demonstrating their commitment to personal and professional growth in various fields.
