Floris D.

Floris D. has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Floris is currently working as a Strategic Assistant to the CEO at Marvel Fusion, a position they have held since 2022. Before that, they were a Consultant at Roland Berger in 2021.

In 2019, Floris worked as a Visiting Researcher and later as a Graduate Student Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft where they completed their thesis research on "Single Proton Acoustics for Dosimetry in Proton Therapy". Floris'sresearch focused on developing a theoretical framework describing the generation of single proton acoustic waves, as part of a wider project sponsored by the NWO (Dutch Research Agenda) aimed at improving the accuracy of proton radiation cancer treatments.

In 2018, they interned as an Investment Banker at Rothschild & Co, and in 2017, they worked as a Private Equity Intern at AAC Capital.

Floris has also held leadership roles at UniPartners Delft, a non-profit academic consultancy firm, where they were a Board Member and Account Manager in 2016, and later as a Board Member and Public Relations Manager where they were responsible for promoting their brand within the student community.

Floris started their professional career in 2011 when they founded Fluitservice.nl, a company providing a referee service for field hockey games in the Nijmegen region. The company employed 30 referees before it was sold after two years of operation.

Floris D. completed their education from 2007 to 2013 at Canisius College, majoring in Science and Technology. Floris then studied at Delft University of Technology from 2013 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Physics, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) degree in the same field from the same university from 2018 to 2020. There is no record of any additional certifications.
