Mahaboob Sheriff Afsarjan, PMP®, PSM®, PAHM®, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mahaboob Sheriff is currently a Project Manager/Senior Project/Program Manager at Marvel Technologies Inc, where they have been working since 2013. Prior to this role, they worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as a Manager from 2011 to 2013. From 2003 to 2011, Mahaboob worked as a Project Manager at IBM Global Services, where they were deputed at Nationwide Insurance, Walmart, BCBSIL, and Nasco. Mahaboob Sheriff also served as a Technical Lead at Wipro Technologies in 2003. Previously, they worked as a Business Analyst at FORD INDIA LTD in 2002 and as a Sr Software Consultant at Malaysian Derivatives Exchange Bhd (MDEX) from 2001 to 2002. Mahaboob began their career as a Software Engineer at Cognizant Technology Solutions in 2000 and worked in the same role at Tata Consultancy Services from 1998 to 2000.

Mahaboob Sheriff Afsarjan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bangalore University, which they completed between 1989 and 1994. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Professional Academy for Healthcare Management (PAHM®) certification in December 2005. Following this, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2017. Most recently, in March 2020, they acquired the Professional Scrum Master (PSM®) certification from Scrum.org.
