Elia Imler, MS has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career at Tops Markets as a Business Office Associate from 1994 to 1997. They then moved on to Cornell University, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Advising, supporting two advising deans and conducting communication audits for affiliated offices. Elia later joined Carolina Theatre of Durham as a Marketing Associate, where they handled various marketing tasks such as writing press releases, designing advertising materials, and executing grassroots campaigns. In 2003, they joined CarMax as an Assistant Public Relations Manager, a position they held until 2013. During their time at CarMax, Elia gained experience in managing public relations and handling media-related tasks. Following their tenure at CarMax, Elia joined Bon Secours and served as the Director of Marketing and Communication. In this role, they led a team of specialists, oversaw website management, produced publications, developed internal and external communications, managed social media channels, and handled vendor relations. They were promoted to director in January 2022. Additionally, in 2021, Elia took on the role of Adjunct Instructor at Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, co-creating and teaching a course on social media and digital collaboration.

Elia Imler, MS completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Communications at Ithaca College from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Studies & Art from the State University of New York at Oswego, which they attended from 1990 to 1994.
