Guoya Li is a Senior Clinical Informatics Scientist at Bon Secours Health System since March 2009, leading initiatives focused on data quality, management, and analysis across various service lines to enhance patient care and clinical effectiveness. With extensive experience in healthcare data registries, data reporting, and predictive modeling, Guoya has improved clinical outcomes while ensuring data integrity for numerous healthcare programs. Previous roles include Informatics Core Manager and Senior Scientist at Altria, where data analysis on tobacco toxicity was conducted, and Research Fellow at Merck, responsible for building genome infrastructure databases and analyzing molecular profiling data. Other notable positions include Senior Scientist at Motorola, designing microarray algorithms, and Senior Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company, researching drug interactions related to Alzheimer’s disease. Guoya holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Pierre and Marie Curie and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in DNA repair and disease at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
