Maria-Pia Negro Chin is an experienced bilingual multimedia journalist and editor with a focus on diversity, education, religion, and immigration. Currently serving as a Spanish Editor at OSV News since December 2022, Maria-Pia has also worked as a Freelance Writer and Editor since October 2014, contributing to various national magazines and newspapers, including Nuestra Voz, Catholic News Service, and The Atlantic. As a Bilingual Associate Editor for the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers since August 2016, Maria-Pia writes, edits, and translates content for Maryknoll Magazine and Misioneros. Previous roles include Bilingual Reporter/Youth Editor at The Tablet Publishing Company, Inc., and Bilingual Reporter at Arlington Catholic Herald, as well as internships at The New York Times and Catholic News Service. Maria-Pia holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Writing from Loyola University Maryland.
