Mike Dower

Michael Dower is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, writing, and data analysis. Currently serving as a Report & Information Specialist, Registration Specialist, and Adjunct Lecturer at Howard Community College since January 2013, Michael has developed curriculum for English 121 and significantly advanced students' writing skills. Prior experience includes roles as an Election Clerk at the Anne Arundel County Board of Elections, where documentation was streamlined, and as a Graduate Assistant at Towson University, contributing to a writing workshop. Michael also has expertise in grant writing, generating successful proposals for non-profits, and data analysis from positions at 1st Mariner Bank and Global Payments Inc. Michael holds a Master of Science in Professional Writing and degrees in Philosophy and Liberal Arts from Towson University and Howard Community College, respectively.
