Joy Haghtalab, CAP, has extensive experience in administrative roles within The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, serving since September 2008 in various capacities including Administrative Specialist II, Administrative Assistant III, and Senior Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities have included maintaining confidential records, managing vehicle mileage, analyzing program needs, supervising an administrative support team, and coordinating events such as the PGCBGC Annual Awards Banquet. Additionally, Joy Haghtalab served as PTO President at Montpelier Elementary from May 2014 to October 2018, leading initiatives that aligned the school’s mission with PTO goals, facilitating meetings, and managing budgets. Joy Haghtalab holds an AAB in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources from Eastern Gateway Community College.
