Demiya Rowland

DeMiya Rowland is a communications professional with diverse experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Maryland Department of Social Services since April 2024, DeMiya also holds the position of Marketing Coordinator at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission since October 2022. Previous roles include Media Relations Intern at Joi Luck Club from August to December 2021 and Editorial Writer and Events Intern at Arlington Lifestyle Magazine from April to September 2020. DeMiya holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Emerging Media from Bowie State University, graduating in 2022.
