Dan Chambers

Dan Chambers has extensive experience in educational organizing, currently serving as an Organizer with the Maryland State Education Association since November 2009. In this role, Dan has supported candidates from various levels of office, engaged in multi-faceted campaign activities, and coordinated with local union affiliates. Previously, Dan was an Organizer with the Illinois Education Association from September 2002 to October 2009, where responsibilities included establishing new local organizing in over 45 public school campaigns, emphasizing advocacy for education support professionals and part-time college faculty. Dan holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communications from North Carolina State University, earned between 2015 and 2019, and also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication from the same institution, completed in 2001.
