Katherine Saavedra, MSHS, MPH, PA-C, serves as the Administrative Medical Director at Mary's Center since September 2015, where leadership focuses on delivering high-quality health services to diverse populations and developing standards of clinical care. With experience as a Physician Assistant, Katherine provides comprehensive primary care emphasizing preventative care and chronic disease management, including addiction treatment. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Katherine educates first-year Physician Assistant students in clinical assessment and the social determinants of health. Additional roles include serving as a Case Review Panelist for HealthHIV, reviewing cases for substance use providers, and engaging in various medical roles, from a Medical Scribe to a Medical Assistant. Katherine holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Providence College.
