Sarah Spencer Northey

Sarah Spencer Northey, LMFT, LPC, is an experienced mental health professional with a focus on couple and family therapy. Since June 2014, Sarah has worked at Mary's Center, where Sarah established and managed the Relationship Therapy Program and served as Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor and Bilingual Mental Health Therapist. Concurrently, Sarah has been a Relationship Therapist and Blogger at DC Counseling and Psychotherapy since March 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Bilingual Individual/Family Therapist at Contemporary Family Services, a Future Coach at The Future Project, and a Therapist Intern at The Center for Healthy Families. Educational credentials include an M.S. in Couple and Family Therapy from The University of Maryland and a B.A. in Psychology and Drama from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
