Iván Eduardo Rincón Garzón

Iván Eduardo Rincón Garzón has over 15 years of work experience in the field of software development and architecture. Iván Eduardo currently works as a Senior Software Architect at MAS Global Consulting since September 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Software Architect at Globant from April 2019 to September 2020, and Software Designer from June 2015 to March 2019.

Before joining Globant, Iván worked at ROSEN as an Ingeniero de Desarrollo from April 2010 to April 2015. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing tools and software for the analysis of integrity of oil storage tanks. Iván Eduardo also developed software to identify potential risks in oil transportation pipelines for Eurotank, OCP, and Ecopetrol.

Earlier in their career, Iván worked as an Ingeniero de Desarrollo at ePago from July 2007 to August 2009. Iván Eduardo was involved in planning, developing, and implementing software for payment and control systems for Grupo Aval and pension payment applications for banks such as Banco de Bogotá, Banco de Occidente, and Banco Popular.

Iván started their career as a Desarrollador de Software at CrearMedia from May 2005 to June 2007. Iván Eduardo conceptualized and developed web projects using ASP.NET and Flash, as well as stand-alone applications using Visual Basic and C#. Iván Eduardo also played a key role in the development of an e-learning application for Fundación Social in 2005.

Iván Eduardo Rincón Garzón attended the Universidad Catolica de Colombia from 2000 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniero Electronico y Telecomunicaciones (Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering).

In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In 2013, they obtained certifications in Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications, Developing Windows Azure and Web Services, Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, and Essentials of Developing Windows Store Apps using HTML5 and JavaScript.
