Andrew Shuttlewood has a strong background in software development and architecture. Andrew worked at Masabi as a Principal Engineer from November 2019 to the present. Prior to that, they were an Architect at Smarsh starting in August 2017, where they played a key role in integrating systems and developing cloud components. Before Smarsh, Andrew served as the Chief Software Architect at Cognia from September 2012 to August 2017, where they designed and implemented functionality for a cloud-based media management environment. Andrew also worked as the Chief Software Architect at Validis from November 2007 to September 2012, leading the overall software architecture and supervising teams. Andrew started their career as a Senior Developer at Future Route from November 2002 to November 2007, gaining experience in various projects and developing data analysis tools.
Andrew Shuttlewood attended Imperial College London from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science.
